I saw Starfucker last night at the Echo. Wow!! they were awesome. If you have never heard them before, I highly recommend giving them a listen. They are a great combo of indie, pop, electric dance that will make you move and groove like no other. Due to the fact that it was at a small venue and that they were selling and signing their own merchandise as well as taking pictures, it gave the show a great unique and personal feel. I was on a giddy high for about 6 hours after the show,
They just released their Julius 7" and have an album coming out March of 2011, which I am super excited for. I am also kind of in love with the band and want to be best friends with them (you would be too!).
